Scleroderma is a kind of skin and internal organs fibrosis is characterized by connective tissue disease, more common in women aged 30 - 50, female incidence rate of 3 - 5 times that of men, two sub limitations and systematic type. Cause not yet entirely clear, mainly in the following two kinds of theories:

     A vascular theory. Vascular abnormalities is scleroderma primary lesion. First, the early onset of Raynaud's phenomenon often reduce the number of capillaries finger, expansion bend, reduced blood flow, large fissures, vacuoles, granular degeneration occurs between nuclei capillary endothelial cells, endothelial cell damage and then lead to vascular permeability changes, platelet aggregation and release of platelet factor prompting perivascular interstitial fibroblasts secrete large amounts of collagen.

     Second, the immunity doctrine. Immune abnormalities in patients with T helper cell function enhancement, resulting in autoantibody production. These antibodies may directly or indirectly damage endothelial cells, induced proliferation of fibroblasts.

     At present, China's immune system disease crowd showed multiple trends, plus Western medicine treatment of multiple immune agents to hormone-based, scleroderma, too. But the side effects of hormones are generally relatively large, patients are generally reluctant to take especially girls, to be stable disease control, or by traditional Chinese medicine, to reduce the side effects of hormones.
