This is caused due to skin tightening and hardening. Can be further divided into morphea and linear. Morphea type causes skin inflammation, and develop into red patches in a few days. This skin patches have ivory center and violet edges. While this is common in skin spot chest, abdomen and back, but sometimes of the face, arms and legs will appear.
Linear scleroderma symptoms in a linear fashion. May appear singlet-type skin thickening or discoloration. Under normal circumstances, will appear in the forehead, arms and legs. |
